Peer over the heather ridge to spy the broch shelter high in the mountain, a stone stronghold against the wind, rain and winter snow .
 
A Broch with a layered glaze finish and carved design . Can be used as a tealight lantern or for incense cones . 
Due to the handmade nature of all my pottery slight variations do occur in size, colour and design . This makes each one unique . All are individually thrown from stoneware clay and fired to a high temperature .
